Govt says Sandhu resigned due to personal reasons
New Delhi: Deputy National Security Advisor Bureau Nehchal Sandhu resigned on Thursday, the government said in a press release. The government said Sandhu had resigned due to “personal reasons" and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had accepted his resignation “with regret." Sandhu was an Indian Police Service officer of the Bihar cadre. He did not respond to phone calls seeking comment.
