New Delhi: In the wake of Paris terrorist attack, IT companies, including TCS, Infosys and HCL have issued advisory for its employees to follow guidelines announced by the local authorities.

“All our employees in the area are safe. We have asked our employees to follow the guidelines announced by the local authorities," a TCS spokesperson said.

A statement from Infosys said the company is in touch with its employees in the city and have asked them to follow the guidelines and instructions that the local authorities have issued. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Paris," Infosys said.

HCL said it strongly condemns the terror attacks in Paris and its thoughts and prayers are with the people of France in this difficult hour. “Keeping our employees safe and secure is our highest priority. We have issued an advisory to our Paris based employees sensitising them about the on-ground situation and suggesting them to stay indoors," HCL said. It added that the local contact details have been provided for any emergency support and the company is monitoring the situation and offering assistance wherever required.

At least, 127 people were killed and nearly 200 others injured in a series of attacks targeting young concert-goers, soccer fans and Parisians enjoying a Friday night out at popular restaurants, in the deadliest violence to strike France since World War II. PTI
