Bangalore: Educomp Solutions Ltd., a Delhi-based education service provider said on Friday that it won two separate orders from Karnataka and Chhattisgarh to set up computer labs and train students in government run schools and hostels.
Educomp said, in a statement, the order from Karnataka government was valued at Rs109 crore, but did not disclose details from that of the northern state. The firm currently partners 13 states through services aimed at enhancing quality of students’ learning and reducing their drop out rate.
“The total number of schools in the Educomp ICT portfolio has gone upto 8912,” it said
Educomp reported a profit of Rs70.06 crore on sales of Rs262.10 crore in the year to March 2008.
