Thiruvananthapuram: State Bank of India Officers Association (SBI) has called off their planned indefinite all India strike from 20 October ‘in the wake of global financial meltdown and its impact on country’s economy’.
In a statement here, Association (Kerala Circle) General Secretary K Rajeevan said that the strike has been postponed ‘considering the financial situation in the country’.
SBI officers had called for strike demanding, among other things, the merger move of associate banks.
