New Delhi: Rajya Sabha members of the Samajwadi Party (SP), who were suspended from the House on Tuesday, denied reports of having apologized for their “unruly behaviour" during the passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill.

“It is a completely motivated report that I along with other SP MPs (members of Parliament) Nand Kishore Yadav, Veer Pal Singh Yadav and Amir Alam Khan have expressed apology to Rajya Sabha chairperson Hamid Ansari on Friday," said party MP Kamal Akhtar.

The four MPs, along with three others, were first suspended and then forcibly removed by marshals on Tuesday.
