Akhilesh Yadav sacks Shivpal Yadav from UP cabinet as family feud intensifies

The ongoing succession battle in the Samajwadi Party (SP) took a dramatic turn on Sunday when chief minister Akhilesh Yadav sacked four ministers, including his uncle Shivpal Yadav, who is also the chief of SP in Uttar Pradesh. Senior party leaders point out that it is no longer a fight between party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav and his chief-minister son.
