Dubai: Tehran will host a trilateral meet between India, Pakistan and Iran next month to deliberate on the $7.4 billion IPI gas pipeline.
Iran’s Minister of Petroleum Seyyed Kazem Vaziri-Hamaneh said negotiators of the three countries have agreed on many articles of the contract during their last week meeting.
The minister, however, told The Tehran Times that revision of prices is a possibility.
“At present, free gasoline and fixing of a second price for gasoline is not an issue, but the four month gasoline quota is to be raised to six months. We hope that our people will face no problem through good management of fuel consumption,” he said.
Fuel quotas for people in service and major consumer sectors have been discussed during the past few days and they will be supplied sufficient fuel in the near future, Vaziri-Hamaneh said.
