China seeks toy dispute resolution through talks

New Delhi: China said it wants to resolve the dispute over India’s import curbs on its products through negotiations while retaining the option of going to the World Trade Organization (WTO). Our principal position is that we do not rule out the possibility of bringing any litigation in front of a multilateral mechanism or WTO for settlement, Chinese vice-minister of commerce Zhong Shan said at a press conference with India’s commerce secretary G.K. Pillai on Thursday.
