Economy | CII seeks more sops to prop up economy

New Delhi: Projecting that the Indian economy is likely to slow further and grow by less than 7% in the second half of this fiscal, industry chamber Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has asked the government to announce further stimuli to prop up growth.
In a report CII also asked the central bank to signal more cut in interest rates, given subdued prices which may fall further during 2009-10.
