Ahead of MCD polls in Delhi, AAP MLA Ved Prakash joined the BJP and later resigned from the legislative assembly
New Delhi: Ahead of municipal polls in the national capital, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) member of legislative assembly (MLA), Ved Prakash on Monday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and later resigned from the legislative assembly.
Alleging that the AAP government failed in delivering its promises, Prakash, who represents the Bawana constituency said, “Corruption has not been brought down in Delhi. There is corruption in every department in government. People are unhappy with the government’s performance. Every person is feeling cheated. They (AAP) have failed to deliver on promises made in the run-up to assembly elections."
