New Delhi: Liberhan report, which went into the 1992 Babri mosque demolition will be discussed in Lok Sabha on 9-10 December. Informing this, deputy leader of the Opposition Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday said that the decision was taken at the business advisory committee of the house.
“The government has indicated that copies of the report in Hindi will be made available by Thursday,” she said.
The discussion originally scheduled for this Tuesday was postponed by the government due to the non-availability of the translation. The Liberhan panel report, which was tabled in parliament last Tuesday has indicted members of the RSS, VHP and senior leaders including Atal Bihari Vajpayee, L.K. Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi for aiding the demolition.
Swaraj said that the issue of climate change is listed for discussion on Thursday while issue related to Sri Lankan Tamils would be taken up on Friday in the Lok Sabha.
