Mumbai: Mohammed Ajmal Kasab, the sole surviving gunman from November’s attacks in Mumbai, pleaded not guilty to charges of waging war and seeking to destabilize the government.
The court framed charges against Kasab, two alleged Indian accomplices, 35 others based in Pakistan and said to have been involved in planning the attacks, besides the remaining nine gunmen, all of whom died in the assault.
Kasab and Abu Ismail, who are accused of jointly attacked a railway station, were charged with killing 72 people and injuring 133.
