Vietnamese PM arrives in Kolkatta

Kolkata: Trade and economic cooperation will top the agenda of talks which Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will have with Indian leaders during his visit beginning here on 4July.
Dung, whose special plane touched down at around 8:40 am at the N S C Bose International airport, was received by West Bengal cabinet minister Manab Mukherjee.
Dung, who was accompanied by an over 172-member entourage, is on a day-long visit to the city.
Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee was slated to meet the Vietnamese prime minister at a hotel later, where the Indo-Vietnam Solidarity Committee and Indo-Vietnam Business Forum would interact with the visitor.
He would also lay a wreath at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial statue. Dung would later leave for Jamshedpur to visit the Tata Steel plant and return in the afternoon.
The premiere and his delegation would leave for Mumbai in the evening by a special flight.
