Nalini ends hunger strike after parole vow
Bangalore: Nalini Sriharan, who is serving life imprisonment for helping to plan the assassination of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi, ended her hunger strike after authorities agreed to consider a parole bid, a prison official said. Sriharan, 43, broke her fast on Wednesday after prison authorities said that her application for an early release would be considered, the official said over phone.
