New Delhi: Bahujan Samaj Party Supremo Mayawati has moved into a new home on Gurudwara Rakabganj Road, a stone’s throw away from Parliament house. The house was dressed up on Sunday for a grand housewarming party the BSP chief held for leaders of the Third Front amidst heavy security and talk of her prime ministerial aspirations.
However, addressing a press conference in earlier in the day, Mayawati said the dinner meeting of the Front leaders would not discuss the issue of prime ministership.

“The meeting has nothing to do with the issue of prime ministership. The issue will be decided only after the results of the 15th Lok Sabha polls are out,” she said.
But she said the meeting would discuss plans to keep the UPA and NDA out of power.
Left front leaders were special invites at the dinner. But politicians were not the only ones making a beeline for behenji’s new home. BSP workers were parked outside the house early in evening, selling posters and party merchandise.
Mayawati’s new residence, bungalow number 14, is next to the Kanshiram Prerna Kendra. The bungalow after that houses the BSP office. The high walls and iron gates are intimidating. All that anyone trying to look in would see is a hint of the colour pink – a clear favorite of the BSP leader as her earlier home on Humayun Road was the same hue. The vacated bungalow will now house her right hand Satish Chandra Mishra. Mayawati does not like to have a nameplate outside her house – the BSP posters are indication enough of its occupant’s identity.
