In April alone this year, the Pakistani Army has violated ceasefire at least seven times in Poonch and Rajouri sectors of Jammu and Kashmir. Here's a timeline
New Delhi: Pakistan Army’s barbaric and unsoldierly act of killing two Indian security personnel and mutilating their bodies is the latest in a series of ceasefire violations done along the Line of Control (LoC) in last two months.
In April alone this year, the Pakistani Army has violated ceasefire at least seven times in Poonch and Rajouri sectors of Jammu and Kashmir.
In 2016 there were 228 instances of ceasefire violation along the LoC, while there were 221 instances of ceasefire violation along the International Border (IB). There were four violations of the ceasefire along the LoC in Poonch in March.
Here’s a brief timeline of instances of ceasefire violations by the Pakistani Army in April:
■ 19 April: Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire along the LoC in Poonch sector.
■ 17 April: Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire by firing and shelling mortars on forward posts in Noushera sector along the LoC in Rajouri district.

■ 8 April: Earlier, Pakistani troops again violated the ceasefire by heavy shelling in the Noushera sector along the LoC in Rajouri.
■ 5 April: Pakistan Army troops violate cease fire in Poonch district.
■ 4 April: Pakistan Army violates ceasefire in Bhimbher Gali sector.
■ 3 April: Pakistan Army targeted posts in Balakote and Digwar sectors in Poonch.
■ 1 April: In Digwar sector of Poonch, a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO), Naib Subedar S Sanayaima Som, was killed in an improvise explosive device (IED) blast along the LoC in Poonch sector.
