New Delhi: BJP has decided to go it alone in the Haryana assembly elections. The ongoing talks with Bhajanlal lead Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) have broken down, party general secretary Vijay Goel told reporters.
Goel said there was no possibility of a revival of talks with HJC announcing that BJP will contest all 90 seats in the state polls.
Goel cited differences over seat-sharing for the 90-member assembly as the reason behind the snapping of alliance talks while senior leaders in the party say requesting not to be quoted that the issue of projecting Bhajan Lal’s son Kuldeep Bishnoi as the chief ministerial candidate was the bone of contention.
BJP had recently announced the ending of its tie-up with Om Prakash Chautala-led INLD and had entered into talks with HJC which broke its ties with BSP.
