India to host education consortium in S Asia

New Delhi: India would host and lead an education consortium on the information and communication technology(ICT) platform to enhance educational resources and teacher education in South Asian region. The ICT platform to be launched by the Indira Gandhi National Open University(Ignou) would have Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bangladesh, Nepal apart from India as its members, said Ignou vice chancellor V.N. Rajasekharan Pillai on the sidelines of a conference.
