New Delhi: The government said it is committed to settling boundary disputes with China after its northern neighbour objected to Asian Development Bank’s funding of a project in Arunachal Pradesh.
China did not endorse the bank’s partnership strategy for India in June as it included funding for a flood and river management project in Arunachal, which China claims as its territory, foreign minister S.M. Krishna said in Parliament. Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India, Krishna said, adding the government will discuss the issue with China.
