Mumbai: BSE Training Institute Ltd (BTI), in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Open University, (IGNOU), on Friday inaugurated the first batch of its MBA - Financial Markets Program, full time MBA specialising in ‘Financial Markets´.
“With emerging markets like India accounting for a significant portion of the global financial growth, there is a need for developing professionals with specialised qualifications to handle this growth,” BSE Training Institute, managing director, Ambarish Datta said in a statement in Mumbai.
BTIL backed by Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd., Asia’s first exchange, is the only educational institute in the country offering a specialised course specifically designed for the study of financial markets. The course will be held at BTIL’s premises in BSE.
