UIDAI chairman and Infosys founder Nandan Nilekani held a public update session in New Delhi on Tuesday to outline in detail his organization’s plan for implementation of the unique identity project, called Aadhaar.
In the hour long speech and question and answer session, in which Nilekani talked with an audience comprised of potential collaborators and others who work in technology and finance, the software czar addressed security concerns, discussed how he plans to use biometrics in the enrolment process, and said Aadhaar-indiced online banking could be a "game changer."
