New Delhi: Zoom Communications Ltd, which was subcontracted to do the production work for the XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi (CWG) by SIS Live, the UK-based broadcasting company, labeled the VK Shunglu Committee Report as inaccurate.
It also refuted the charges that it had made undue profits during the event.
The company stated in a press statement that the value of the sub-contract to Zoom Communications was around Rs160 crore and not Rs177 crore as stated in the report. It also said that the estimated profits from the CWG event were roughly Rs32 crore and not Rs65 crore.
Zoom Communications also alleged that no authority from the Shunglu Committee contacted any of the representatives from the company. It also stressed that the report wrongly mentioned a link between SIS Live and Zoom Communications and added that both were independent entities.
