Washington/New Delhi: A wide range of issues, including progress in probe into the Mumbai attacks, aspects related to the civil nuclear deal and the upcoming G-20 meet, are expected to figure in talks foreign secretary Shiv Shankar Menon will have with top US officials during his four-day visit here.
Taking the Indo-US relationship to the next level—from what was accomplished during the Bush Administration—is going to be the main focus of Menon’s visit here.
The threat posed by terrorism emanating from Pakistan is expected to figure prominently in the discussions. In this context, the two sides are expected to discuss progress made in investigations into Mumbai attacks.
