New Delhi: The income tax department seized a record cash haul of ₹ 44.2 crore following a raid on three commodities traders in New Delhi on Tuesday and Wednesday.

According to the department’s spokesman, it is the largest cash haul and preliminary investigations indicated the traders had evaded tax of ₹ 155 crore.
