India will ease visa rules, tariffs for South Asian neighbours

New Delhi: India will loosen rules on visas for teachers, doctors, students and journalists and give greater market access to least-developed neighbours, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said.
Singh was speaking at the 14th summit of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc), a regional group.
Saarc, formed in 1985, includes India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and the Maldives.
