New Delhi: The government on Tuesday named Harishankar Brahma as the new power secretary. He was special secretary, national disaster management, in the Union home ministry. Brahma, a 1975 batch Indian Administrative Officer, is the second Andhra Pradesh cadre officer who heads the post in quick succession after V.S. Sampat.
