BackNarendra Modi invites technology enthusiasts’ feedback on Digital India
Prime Minister Modi also said he would try and answers some of the questions on Sunday

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday invited techies to share their views, inputs, comments and question on Digital India initiative on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn using #DigitalDialogue.
“The overwhelming response along with a lot of insights & inputs on #DigitalIndia initiative has inspired me to have a #DigitalDialogue," Modi said in a tweet. “You, me & a #DigitalDialogue! Would love to hear your thoughts, insights & views on #DigitalIndia initiative. Come, let us talk digital."
He also said he would answering some of the questions.
“Inviting tech enthusiasts to share their views using #DigitalDialogue. Will try to answer some questions tomorrow," he tweeted.
Government launched Digital India week on 1 July with the aim to integrate the government departments and the Indian citizens. It is an umbrella program that focuses on creating digital infrastructure, delivering services digitally, and providing digital literacy. It envisages an investment of Rs1.13 trillion in the next three-five years to provide Internet connections to all citizens.
During the Digital India week launch, the NDA government unveiled new initiatives including Online Registration System (ORS) under the e-hospital application to provide services such as online registration, payment of fees and appointment, online diagnostic reports and enquiring availability of blood online, National Scholarships Portal that would serve as a centralized platform for all central and states scholarships wherein students would be able to apply online, eSign framework that would allow citizens to digitally sign a document online using Aadhaar authentication and Digitize India Platform to digitize records on a large scale to facilitate delivery of services.
The government also launched new apps for citizens including Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) Mobile app, andAadhaar Mobile App. PayGov, a platform to make all government payments online, was also introduced. Meanwhile, Indian Industry announced planned investments of Rs4.5 trillion and job creation for 1.8 million people over the next 5-10 years under Digital India initiative.
