Benghazi: Rebels in Libya are coordinating with Western nations on the targets for air strikes on Moammer Gadhafi’s forces, rebel spokesman Khaled al-Sayeh told a press conference on Friday.
“There is coordination with the different international bodies for the action to be taken and some places have already been specified,” Sayeh of the rebels’ military council told reporters in the rebel-held city of Benghazi.
A coalition of Western nations are poised to launch air strikes on Libya after the UN Security Council on Thursday approved military action to stop the country’s longtime leader Gadhafi from crushing a month-old insurgency.
