New Delhi: A Delhi court today received a letter purportedly sent by Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) to blow up court complexes tomorrow, forcing the authorities to beef up the security in and around them.

A letter in an envelop was received by the receipt and dispatch section of the district judge in Tis Hazari courts here, reliable sources told PTI.

The letter, they said, threatened to blow up the court complexes in the capital on Saturday without specifying any of the five district court complexes here.

“We will rock all your court complexes on that day (December 13) either with the help of our fidayeens (suicide squad members) or some other manner," the letter, carrying the signature of an alleged JeM operative, read.

The threat letter also referred to a similar warning made on December four, which turned out to be hoax.

An anonymous call warning that terrorists in the guise of advocates, would create mayhem at Tis Hazari courts complex was received on December 4, which was later found to be a hoax by the police.

However, three days after, a fresh threat was made that some bombs were planted at Patiala House courts complex, which again turned out to be hoax.

The sources said that the authorities this time also duly informed the police, which have apparently put some extra personnel at Tis Hazari courts.

A lok adalat for disposing of accident claim cases is scheduled to be held tomorrow in the district court complexes.
