Markets have already factored hike in CRR: Religare

Mumbai: We expect the Reserve Bank to hike the Cash Reserve ratio (CRR) by 25 basis points (bps), while the repo rate is expected to be held steady.
The markets have already factored in the hike. However, a hike in repo rate can cause a knee-jerk reaction and the markets may tumble. We also expect inflation to remain stable around current levels and expect it to fall to sub-10% levels by December 2008.
