New Delhi: Reliance Petroleum will start fuel exports from its new refinery this month, a senior company official said on Thursday.
“During the course of this month, products are likely to be sold,” P. Raghavendran, president (refinery business) at Reliance Industries told reporters on the sidelines of the Petrotech conference.
Reliance Petroleum, a unit of RIL, last month commissioned its 5,80,000-barrels-per-day only for exports refinery at Jamnagar in Gujarat.
Raghavendran said the company’s focus currently is on fully commissioning and completing the new refinery and it would look for opportunities for setting up new projects world over thereafter.
“We are looking at opportunities around the world where we can contribute,” he said but declined to give details.
