Dept of science and technology has planned a series of road shows in Africa over the year to open new markets for technology developed in India

Loan will be used to construct nine buildings, including a technology incubation centre, a research park and academic blocks

Officials say there’s a need to strengthen functioning institutions such as UGC rather than scrapping them

The company has been shortlisted by the HRD ministry to open the schools under the public-private partnership model
