Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an XML-based format for content distribution. RSS, provides you with a new way of keeping on top of Mint news. It allows you to view constantly updated headlines from www.livemint.com, in addition to headlines from other news publications, in one place. You can choose which feeds you would like to display. RSS feeds are free and www.livemint.com currently uses RSS 2.0.

You can find many RSSFeed Readers on the web.
To demostrate how to use the Livemint feeds, we are using RSSReader, which is one of the freewares available on web.
The software requires the installation of Microsoft's .Net Framework. You can download it from here.
After installing the RSSReader please follow the following steps:
1. Right click on 'My feed' and choose 'Add feed'.
2. Copy the RSS feed shortcut e.g: http://www.livemint.com/StoryRss.aspx?LN=Latestnews) from www.livemint.com, paste it into the box and click on the next button.
3. Once you see Feed title then click again on the next button.
4. Select the group where you want to add the feed and then click 'OK'
