Mumbai: The Oberoi Group will open the Trident hotel in Bandra Kurla on 17 December, making it the only hotel within the Bandra-Kurla Complex, a prominent financial and commercial district in suburban Mumbai. The Bandra- Kurla Complex, popularly known as BKC, houses major institutions such as markets regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India, the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd (NSE), ICICI Bank Ltd, and Wockhardt Ltd, among others. The five-star hotel will have 436 rooms with a meeting and conference hall that can hold 500 persons. The Oberoi group, founded in 1934, operates 27 hotels and three cruise ships in five countries under the luxury ‘Oberoi’ and five-star ‘Trident’ brands.
