Kolkata: Rose Valley group chief Gautam Kundu was on Thursday remanded in custody of the Enforcement Directorate till 31 March by a Kolkata court.

Kundu was on Wednesday arrested by the federal agency and charged with various offences under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Rose Valley is one of eastern India’s biggest deposit-taking companies and is estimated to have collected at least 10,000 crore from various states in eastern India.
