Microsoft India and BITES sign MoU

Bangalore, 24 September Microsoft Corporation India and Board for Information Technology Education Standards (BITES) today signed an MoU to train technology students in Karnataka.

As per the MoU, a training programme would be launched for final year and pre-final year engineering graduate students of computer science and information science as well as final year PG students of computer applications, a release said.

The seven-month programme, starting next month, will be open to all students of BITES’ member institutes. At the end of the programme, the best student from each BITES member college, will have the opportunity to apply for Microsoft’s Student Partner Programme.

In addition, the top 100 students will be offered projects on latest technologies under the Microsoft Academic Projects Programme.
