New Delhi: Leading B-School XLRI has managed to rope in 109 companies to place all its 240 students in the flagship two-years management programmes.
While the average domestic package stood at Rs15.8 Lakhs , a rise of close to 5% over last year’s figure, the highest domestic package stood at Rs23 lakhs. Novartis, Switzerland, made the highest international offer of $120,000.
“The placements very overtly speak of a reviving economy and a visible boom in the market," the institute said in a statement Monday. Some Companies that were involved in placement process include the Boston Consulting Group, Mckinsey & Co., Procter & Gamble, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Standard Chartered, Goldman Sachs, Nomura Holdings and Amazon There was a 19.25% jump in the Pre Placement offers from the last year, the Jamshedpur based institute added.
