LIC Housing Finance Q2 net up 53%

Mumbai: LIC Housing Finance today posted a 53.26% surge in net profit at Rs116.37 crore for the quarter ended 30 September compared to Rs75.93 crore for the same quarter a year ago.
Total income of the company also increased by 36.84% to Rs526.58 crore for the quarter under review against Rs384.80 crore for the corresponding period last year, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Shares of the firm were trading at Rs220.30, up 2.13% at noon on BSE.
