Daimler India announces new appointments

Chennai: Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd (DICV) said Aydogan Cakmaz, head of research and development, has been made leader of the same department for Asia.
He will be based at Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corp.’s headquarters in Kawasaki, Japan, effective 1 July, the company said in a statement. The move is part of the integration of the Asian truck business.
Cakmaz will be replaced by Hidekazu Kanno, who was head of product lifecycle management at Mitsubishi Fuso.
In another change, Sanjiv Khurana, who was chief financial officer at DICV, takes over as president, remanufacturing division, Daimler Trucks North America at Portland, Oregon.
Khurana will be succeeded by Parthasarathy Thota, who was head of the light and medium-duty trucks project for BharatBenz.
