Tata Communications to formally delist from NYSE
The firm expects that this termination of registration will become effective 90 days after its filing with SEC

Mumbai: Tata Communications Ltd said on Thursday that it intends to formally delist from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
As part of this decision, “it will terminate the registration of its American Depositary Shares (ADS), as evidenced by American Depositary Receipts (ADR), under Section 12(g) of the US Securities Exchange Act, 1934, and terminate its reporting obligations with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)," the company said in a notice on BSE.
“The company intends to file with a Form 15F on 26 June 2014 with SEC. This is further to the company’s announcement on 7 June 2013 confirming the delisting of its ADS(s) from NYSE, effective from the close of business on 7 June 2013," the company added.
Tata Communications expects that this termination of registration will become effective 90 days after its filing with SEC.
As a result of this filing, the company’s reporting obligations with SEC, including its obligation to file annual reports on Form 20-F and reports on Form 6-K, will be suspended immediately.
The announcement was made after market hours. On Thursday, shares of Tata Communications were down 1.33% at ₹ 375.80 a piece on BSE. The benchmark Sensex fell 0.99% to close at 25,062.67.
