Mumbai: Bengaluru-based Ideaspring Capital, an early-stage venture fund, officially launched on Monday with a corpus of 125 crore to focus on investments in product innovation start-ups in India, the company said in a statement.

The fund is led by investors and entrepreneurs who include Mohandas Pai, Arihant Patni, Amit Patni, Prashant Deshpande and Rajiv Mody, among others.

Ideaspring Capital has raised a majority of its corpus from Indian investors, with Aarin Capital as anchor investor.

The fund is looking to invest up to 3 crore in seed (early stage) funding and subsequent co-investment at series A stage of up to 5 crore in four to six start-ups across sectors like machine learning and deep learning, computer vision and image processing, big data analytics, Internet of Things, augmented and virtual reality and health tech.
