Mindshare India appoints Premjeet Sodhi as senior vice-president for Fulcrum South Asia

Premjeet Sodhi, currently serving as the COO at Initiative/BPN, will take over the new position in March

New Delhi: Mindshare India, a WPP-owned media agency, on Thursday announced the appointment of Premjeet Sodhi as its senior vice-president for its unit, Fulcrum South Asia, effective 1 March.

Sodhi, who is currently serving as the chief operating officer at media agency Initiative/BPN, part of the IPG group, will take over the new position in March.

Fulcrum manages media planning and buying for the Unilever business in South Asia, including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Sodhi replaces Amin Lakhani who has taken on a larger role as president, client leadership at Mindshare India. In his new role, he will manage core client capabilities across all offices in the country. Lakhani has been with GroupM and Mindshare for 14 years having taken over Mindshare Fulcrum in 2013.

Meanwhile, Anita Kotwani, leader, Mindshare West, has been promoted to a national role of senior vice-president, new business, responsible for new business development across the market.

Mindshare handles clients such as ICICI Bank , breakfast cereal brand Kellogg’s India, fast moving consumer goods company PepsiCo, handset maker Motorola, Lifestyle Group, auto firm Ford India, sports brand Nike, Lufthansa Airlines and The Muthoot Group, among others.
