Urbanity Multisol raises $150,000 seed funding from international investors
Urbanity, which runs on-demand service portal mydidi.in, to use funds to expand operations and launch new products
Bengaluru: Urbanity Multisol Pvt. Ltd which runs on-demand service portal mydidi.in raised $150,000 seed funding from international investors which include Jozef Bardik, Leo Wang and Sangeet Ram. The company that operates in select parts of Mumbai will use the funds to expand to other localities in the city and launch new products.
Didi is a platform where only women service providers cater to on-demand services like home care, cooking, elderly care and babysitting. Chief execustive Johnny Jha said the company that launched operations in late October has serviced over 200 orders.
“We will look to add service in more localities in Mumbai and add more products with the new funds," Jha said and added that Didi will continue to focus on areas like high frequency services and customer retention. The platform has close to 50 women on its platform in housekeeping and it is looking to add 30 for cooking services. Jha said that they will look at expanding into other cities like Bengaluru imminently.
