Mumbai: Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd, the local arm of British carmaker Jaguar Land Rover Automotive Plc, launched the new Range Rover Evoque for the Indian market.
With prices starting at ₹ 47.1 lakh in Mumbai and going up to ₹ 63.2 lakh, the premium SUV is powered by a 2.2 litre, four cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine that delivers a maximum torque of 420 NM at an rpm of 1,750.
The new Evoque will be assembled at the company’s facility near Pune.
Rohit Suri, president, Jaguar Land Rover India, said with the introduction of the 2016 model, the company hopes the excitement around the Evoque will continue.
The Land Rover range in India includes the Range Rover Sport, Discovery 4, and the locally assembled new Discovery Sport.
