New Delhi: Jobs site Shine.com, which entered into a strategic partnership with Silicon Valley-based social recruitment platform MyParichay earlier this year, relaunched the portal on Tuesday with a solution closely integrated with Facebook.
add_main_imageShine.com is owned by HT Media Ltd, the publisher of Mint. The site was launched in 2008.
The new product leverages Facebook to expand the available talent pool for recruiters, the company said. A new marketing campaign will be rolled out on television, print and online starting Wednesday. NextMAds
Shine MyParichay enables recruiters to reach out to the personal networks of their employees, match skills and requirements with those of people in the extended network, and use the referral feature to connect with potential candidates using Facebook.
According to a company survey, there are 35 million job seekers on Facebook who aren’t associated with any jobs site.
The feature will give Shine.com an edge over rivals, said Amit Garg, business head, Internet business, HT Media Ltd.
Shine.com has 12 million registered users, 5.5 million active candidates, 200,000 job openings and 260,000 logins a day. The website adds 9,000-12,000 resumes every day.
