DocPlexus raises $700,000 in funding

The company is looking to grow its network of healthcare professionals with the funds

Mumbai: Pune-based DocPlexus Online Services Pvt. Ltd, a connecting platform for healthcare professionals, has raised over $700,000 from Uniqorn Ventures and Austria-based ASP Consulting. The company was founded in 2014 by Phanish Chandra and is looking to grow its network of healthcare professionals with the funds.

WorkIndia raises $500,000 from angel investors

Mumbai-based hiring start-up Eloquent Info Solutions Pvt. Ltd, which operates the online portal WorkIndia, has raised $500,000 in a pre-Series A funding round. This round was led by Citrus Pay founder Satyen Kothari. Other investors like Keshav Sanghi of VentureWorks India and Riddhesh Gandhi of Discover Capital were part of the round. The company was founded in July by Kunal Patil and Ajay Kumar and is looking to deploy the funds to improve its product, customer acquisition and expansion in 3-4 metro cities in the next six months.
