Shell Lubricants elevates Mansi Madan Tripathy as its MD
Tripathy, now chief marketing officer at the firm, will succeed Nitin Prasad, who has been appointed chairman of Shell companies in India, with effect from 1 August
Mumbai: Shell Lubricants India has appointed Mansi Madan Tripathy as its new managing director, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
Tripathy, now chief marketing officer at the firm, will succeed Nitin Prasad, who has been appointed chairman of Shell companies in India, with effect from 1 August 2016.
Tripathy has 20 years of experience in marketing, sales, insights and strategy. In her new role, she will be responsible for leading all business activities for the lubricants business in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal.
An electronics and communication engineering graduate from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra with an MBA degree from S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Tripathy, prior to joining Shell, was with Procter and Gamble for 17 years. There she served in key positions, including director for global male grooming, P&G and Asia-Pacific head for consumer and market knowledge.
She has worked across countries, including Switzerland, Singapore and the US and on diverse product categories, new initiatives and equity development of global brands like Pantene, Olay, Vicks, Gillette, Pampers, Whisper, Ariel and Tide.
