Mumbai: Bengaluru-based online recruitment company Abhiman Technologies Pvt. Ltd, which operates, said on Monday that it has raised $3 million from IDG Ventures.

The news was first reported by The Times of India on Monday.

The company had raised around 2 crore in a funding round that was led by IDG Ventures in September last year. Other investors that participated in that round included Prashant Kirtane, chief technology officer and co-founder of; Shamsunder Talreja, owner of JetSet Capital; Raghu Krishnananda, former Yahoo engineering leader; and Ravi Gururaj of Frictionless Ventures.

The company was founded by Manjunath Talwar and Abhijit Khasnis in 2014. Mynoticeperiod is an incubatee of Nasscom’s 10,000 Start-up Warehouse programme.

Other start-ups in the space that raised funds in 2014 include that raised funds from Matrix Partners, that raised funds from Helion Ventures., an online company that provides video technology in the area of recruitment, received investment from Mayfield Fund in July last year. According to data by Matrix Partners, the recruitment market in India is worth about $800 million and is growing at 20% annually and India is witnessing the second generation of online hiring firms now.
