Spice Digital picks up 26% stake in Vavia Technologies
Vavia CEO Alan D'souza says the company is looking to develop more products and expand to new geographies
Mumbai: Spice Digital Ltd., the Noida-based company that provides mobile solutions in the field of entertainment and infotainment, has acquired a 26% stake in Vavia Technologies Pvt. Ltd., according to a company statement.
Vavia Technologies is a Bangalore-based company that was founded in 2008 and provides web- and mobile-based solutions.
“We are looking to develop more products and expand to new geographies. We are present in six countries and are looking to expand to 30 by the end of the current fiscal," said Alan D’souza, chief executive officer with Vavia, over the phone.
According to the Spice Digital’s website the company that was founded in 2000 is a part of Spice Global Group—a $2 billion conglomerate.
