Mumbai: Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS), India’s largest software services exporter, said on Monday that it has partnered with two UK-based firms, the Tech Partnership, a network of employers engaged in providing digital training, and MyKindaCrowd, an online forum that helps connects students with relevant job opportunities, to create TechFutures Teachers, a resource pack to help bridge the UK digital skills gap, by helping teachers educate young people about possible roles in the IT industry, and the steps they need to take to achieve it.

TCS volunteers will also be hosting a number of sessions in schools in partnership with MyKindaCrowd based around the resources. TCS and MyKindaCrowd have already run over 50 similar sessions and will be doing 60 more in the next 12 months.

The announcement was made after market hours.

On Monday, shares of TCS ended trade down 0.61% at 2,565.35 per share, while the benchmark Sensex fell 0.23% to end at 28,437.71 points.
